Celebrate racing legends and get behind the wheel at Charlotte’s NASCAR Hall of Fame
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Amazing America) — Racing fans will want to take the fast lane to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, an incredible attraction that offers an immersive look at the people, moments and machines that have shaped one of America’s favorite pastimes. Explore the lives and legacies of racing icons with exhibits like “Five Generations of Earnhardt Racing,” the Whelen Hall of Champions, and “Glory Road: Owners.” See legendary cars and admire eight decades of NASCAR memorabilia at the Heritage Speedway exhibit, which traces the sport’s journey from dirt tracks to superspeedways. Feeling daring? Get behind the wheel of an iRacing simulator, change tires and fill fuel tanks during the Pit Crew Challenge, or experience the exhilaration of broadcasting a live NASCAR race. The museum also offers hands-on, educational workshops for Girl Scouts of various levels, through which they can earn badges by learning about automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, and other STEM fields. Currently, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is open daily except Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but beginning May 19 (Voting Day, when the 2027 Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced) it will be open on Tuesdays as well. Hours may vary during race weekends, so be sure to check the website for updated information. Tickets are required for entry. Admission is $29 for adults, $26 for seniors (65 and up), $22 for children ages four to 12, and free for kids under age four. Purchase tickets online to save $2 on each!
