Tell City Career & Technology Center now offering Advanced Automation & Robotics
TELL CITY, Ind. (WFIE) - Ivy Tech Community College officials say the Tell City Career & Technology Center site will begin offering the Advanced Automation & Robotics Program this fall. According to a press release, the Automation & Robotics Technology Technical Certificate will be a fast-tracked program, where a full-time student can graduate in just slightly over one year. Officials say the program provides students with the skills and knowledge to make an impact in the world of manufacturing and robotics. Those who have an interest in working in manufacturing, working with machinery and have an interest in learning more in the field of robotics are a good fit. Ivy Tech officials say potential full-ride funding exists through Indiana’s Next Level Jobs for qualifying individuals. Classes will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from noon-9:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, August 25. Enrollment is now taking place and spots are limited.
