Apple iPhone Ultra: Four Limited Editions Planned

True to the motto “enhance first, ask questions later”: Russian luxury brand Caviar has unveiled four limited editions of the Apple iPhone Ultra—even though Apple’s first foldable iPhone isn’t expected to be officially unveiled until September . Four editions, one common foundation According to Caviar’s product page, all four versions are based on a titanium case approximately 4.5 millimeters thick, featuring an Apple A20 Pro chip, 12 GB of RAM, a 24-MP under-display selfie camera, and two 48-megapixel rear cameras. However, these technical specifications are based on rumors—according to recent leaks, the actual iPhone Ultra is more likely to feature a classic punch-hole camera rather than an under-display solution. Two of the four editions feature a 24-karat gold coating on the titanium case; in the top-of-the-line version, even the Apple logo is made entirely of 18-karat gold. The back of this variant is made of a carbon composite, while the other three editions feature crocodile leather. As is typical with Caviar, luxury comes at the expense of functionality: the choice of material for the back prevents both magnetic MagSafe accessories and wireless charging. Only 19 units available, price upon request The “Flagship” collection is limited to 19 units and is now available for pre-order in Caviar’s online store. Caviar has not yet disclosed a price—this will only be confirmed upon request. Delivery will not take place until after the actual market launch of the iPhone Ultra in September, at the earliest. Not an isolated case at Caviar This isn’t an unusual move for Caviar: As recently as December, the manufacturer offered gold editions of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max , packaged in a golden surprise egg. Anyone interested in the world’s most expensive smartphones will find more quirky examples from the luxury segment in our overview of the most expensive cell phones . Whether it’s worth the effort for buyers is questionable anyway: even without Caviar’s customization, analysts expect very limited availability and high resale prices for the standard iPhone Ultra at launch.
