Humanoid Robot Prices Near $30,000:Beijing Factory's 500,000-a-Year Plan May Halve Cost, Buyers Lag
A working humanoid robot now costs about $30,000, and the factories building them say scale is about to cut that figure in half. The catch, laid out in CNBC's June 8 China Connection newsletter, is that production capacity is growing much faster than the list of customers willing to pay. Humaniod robotics company raises up to $1.4 billion from Nvidia, Amazon and others
U.S. tech giants have backed a German company in its latest fundraising round to develop its humanoid robotics tech. Neura Robotics' Series C financing, which is worth up to $1.4 billion, featured Tether, Qualcomm, Amazon and Nvidia, alongside European industrial companies Bosch and Schaeffler and the European Investment Bank.

Tesla is now permitted to have 69 unsupervised Robotaxis on the road in Texas
69 I didn’t make this up: Tesla currently has authorization for 69 unsupervised Robotaxis in Texas, according to the state’s database . That’s up from 42 — perhaps a reference to 420 — last month. While that represents growth, it’s far from the scale that CEO Elon Musk had promised . And having permission to be on the road doesn’t mean the vehicles are actually in service.
