Woods.Furniture: Custom Furniture Workshop Website

A demo website for a fictional Tbilisi workshop that builds furniture to measure: kitchens, bedrooms, TV units, wardrobes, workspaces and hallways. Visitors browse finished projects by room, open each one in a fullscreen gallery and ask about a specific piece through a form that already knows which one they mean.

Brand (fictional): Woods.FurnitureType of work: Demo workshop website

Demo project: the brand, data and orders are fictional. We built it to show our work; it is not a client commission.

Challenge

Made-to-measure furniture has no price list. People decide by looking at past work and judging the materials and finish. The site had to show that work up close on any screen and turn "I want something like this" into an enquiry without making the visitor describe it again.

Approach

The collection filters by room and every card lists materials, size, lead time and the month the job was finished. A photo opens in a native fullscreen gallery with keyboard, swipe and thumbnails. The arrow on each project opens the contact form with that project already selected. The form is a server action with validation, a honeypot and a rate limit, and logs mask personal data. Georgian uses the Mark GEO typeface, subset to a few kilobytes per weight, and English pages load no Georgian font. Every page gets its own Content-Security-Policy nonce, the map is OpenStreetMap with no tracking cookies, and the motion switches off for people who prefer reduced motion.

Deliverables

  • Oak, white and navy design system with Mark GEO and Inter Tight
  • Home page with a full-screen hero, stats, collections and the team
  • Collection page filtered by room, with a fullscreen gallery
  • About page with the workshop story, a 4-step process, materials and the guarantee
  • Contact page with a pre-filled enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone and an OpenStreetMap map
  • anime.js reveals and card hover choreography, Lenis smooth scrolling
  • hreflang, sitemap and JSON-LD (FurnitureStore)
  • Hardened container: read-only filesystem, no root, strict security headers

Outcome

A working demo anyone can open: filter the projects by room, flip through the gallery and send an enquiry about a specific piece. The workshop, team, contacts and figures are fictional.
