Challenge
Show a complete online store that runs on a server: real customer accounts, stock for every size and colour, orders that move through statuses, and a way to sell pieces that aren't in the catalogue yet.
Approach
Everything that matters runs on the server. Filters live in the URL, stock is reserved when the order is placed, and each order keeps the prices of the moment it was bought. Passwords are hashed with Argon2, every page gets its own Content-Security-Policy nonce, forms check where a request comes from, and sign-in, registration and special orders are rate-limited. Layouts were tested from 360 px to 1536 px wide.
Deliverables
- Editorial, product-first design system
- Shop with filters, search, sorting and pagination
- Product pages with gallery, zoom, sizes, colours and stock
- Bag that carries over after sign-in, checkout with saved addresses
- Customer accounts with orders, addresses and a wishlist
- Special orders with photo upload and quotes from the shop
- Admin panel for orders, stock, products, customers and special orders
Outcome
A working demo anyone can try: browse the collection, sign in with the demo account, place a test order and follow its status. The brand, products and prices are fictional, and no payment is taken.
