Device Monitoring
Modbus TCP/RTU integration
Read energy meters, generators, PLCs and HVAC controllers over Modbus TCP or RTU, convert registers into readable values and keep their history.
What we build
Energy meters, generators and controllers hold useful values in Modbus registers, but someone reads them manually, or nobody reads them at all.
- Reading of the relevant Modbus registers over TCP or RTU
- Conversion of raw register values into readable units
- Storage of readings with history
- Limits, dashboards and reports on the collected values
How it works
A typical data flow, from your equipment to the place the data is used.

Getting started
What we need from you
- Device models and their Modbus register maps
- Connection details: IP and port, or serial line settings
- Which values matter and how often to read them
What you receive
- A running Modbus collector
- Labelled readings in clear units
- A reference of the registers and conversions used
Questions
No. We read registers for monitoring. Writing to devices is outside this work unless you explicitly request it.
Yes, usually through a gateway that bridges the serial line to your network.
It's normally published in the vendor's documentation for the model. We locate it during the assessment.
As often as each value needs: every few seconds for a critical temperature, every few minutes for an energy total.
More in Device Monitoring
SNMP monitoring
Poll UPS units, PDUs, switches and environmental sensors over SNMP, receive their traps, and store every reading in one monitoring database.
Learn moreUPS & server room monitoring
Monitor UPS status, battery and load, PDUs, and server-room temperature and humidity, with alerts before a power or cooling problem becomes downtime.
Learn moreEmail alerts to structured events
Turn alert emails from UPS units, controllers and other devices into structured, de-duplicated events that reach your alert channel or ticketing system.
Learn moreAlert routing & escalation
Route each alert to the right person and channel by severity and time of day, escalate when nobody responds, and keep a log of every alert sent.
Learn moreMonitoring reports
Scheduled Excel and PDF reports from monitoring data: incidents, limit breaches, load and temperature trends for inspections and capacity planning.
